It’s big and he can put all his academic and drawing stuff in there. Expensive but only thing I could find that did both.
If you're an artist, or like myself, an industrial designer, this backpack is ideal. The 11x17 portfolio is perfect. This is the best thought out backpack for your art supplies and accessories.
I love the backpack and most of its functionality. The inner lining material could stand to be a little more gender friendly. Two things I feel lacking is the material is very unforgiving so when the backpack is full, it’s a little hard to use each compartment to its highest and best. The backpack somehow becomes constrained in its dimensions. This presents an issue if you have sensitive documents in the portfolio even though the portfolio is strong. The corner of my paper get a little bent. Secondly, it could use a better organization system for charging cords and cables. I’m a full-time student that usually does 10 hour days at school so I need access to important things. I commute to school as well, so I need everything to be in one system.
Used this at Fan Expo New Orleans for the first time. Was able to comfortably store and hold 30+ comics, and supplies all weekend standing in line without any problems. Big and roomy to say the least. The straps are comfortable and help disperse the weight. I loved it. So much better than my previous over the shoulder Bag of Holding. The included portfolio for prints and original art was exceptionally useful and protective. I love this purchase.
Initially tentative about the price and quality viewing online, I was completely satisfied with this design. It fulfills all my travel art needs and then some. Even after watching the video of my idol talking about how he even had ink explode on him in the air and the waterproof compartment kept it safe, I still did the same and had the same ink explode in the same pocket. Nothing was damage in this successful test. I love this bag.
