Great Bag!

I love the design and style of the bag. Can fit a lot of stuff. I have stuffed it with my Sony A6400 and a cage, and Sigma 16mm and 18-50 mm lens. Lens cap and couple of filters. There's a lot of room in the bag if you push it to its limits.

Quality bag with caveats

First off, this is a great-looking bag. In the sea same-old-same-old bags the Hex Ranger in the white camo really stands out in a good way. It looks modern and has personality. The construction of the bag is very high quality, the fabric is sturdy, the zippers, pulls and clasps are not going to disappoint and the adjustable interior padding is ideal for light use; in other words, so far so good! There are two flaws for me and the combination turned out to be a deal breaker. The first is the waist/shoulder strap. The straps are loops meaning there is a predetermined minimum length that can be achieved. This may not be a problem for you if you plan to only wear the bag as a sling, if however you plan to use this as a waistpack this is where that minimum can be an issue. I have a 33 inch waist and with the straps set to the absolute smallest point the circumference was too big, meaning that the bag would not stay put at my waist. This is a problem if you intend to use the bag during activities like biking. Now, if you have a larger waist then this may not be an issue for you but for me, it severely limited the carrying options of the bag. Still, I was tempted to keep it and use it only as a sling, however... Flaw number two. Size. Again, this is the small bag in their line, so I knew capacity was going to be tight. In the product images, you'll see they show a Canon M50 being put into the bag with the lens attached. I can see that would be possible. If you have a Canon M50; Olympus OM-D, or Lumix G100; I can see that this bag would make a lot of sense. If you use a larger mirrorless camera then you will have to take the lens off and store the body and lens separately which is inconvenient at best. The product pages show what looks to be a Sony Alpha and lens in the bag; but I wasn't able to fit my Fuji X-T4 and associated 16-80 lens in the bag; the top of the bag bowed upward severely when it was closed. The lens was also a very tight fit, one of my smaller prime lenses would have been better but I don't want my bag to determine what lens I carry. Basically this combination of fit and size meant it had to go back which is really too bad since I really wanted to like this bag! If you have small gear (see my suggestions above) and are willing to use it solely as a sling then this is a really good option. I honestly wish that this was just a little bit bigger since I think the full size Ranger is too big and conspicuous, Hex, if you're listening, how about a medium?

Love the bag but just wish my nikon Z6 or my Canon R7 fit in the mini. I bought 1 for my R10 1st l. I loved it so much I bought a 2nd but my nikon Z6 or Canon R7 dont really fit.
